You are cordially invited to attend the seminar entitled:

From ab initio to few-body models of reactions

presented by

Abstract
Due to their short lifetime, unstable nuclei have to be studied through indirect techniques, such as reactions. FRIB will access parts of the nuclear landscape still unexplored and study the limits of nuclear stability. To infer reliable information from these measurements, one needs an accurate reaction model coupled to a realistic description of the nucleus. In this talk, I will present some of my recent works which focus on a ab initio prediction on the (α, d) radiative capture at low energy (E<3 MeV) and on knockout reactions at higher energy (E>60MeV/nucleon), usually described within few-body models of reactions. More precisely, I will talk about the effects of the dynamics on the knockout observables and their sensitivity to the single-particle description of the projectile.
