General information

The second Workshop "State of the Art in Nuclear Cluster Physics", which will be held at the Université Libre de Bruxelles  (Belgium) on May 25-28, 2010.
This workshop will be dedicated to Daniel Baye on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

The following topics have been selected in order to cover most of the scientific programme:
  1. Cluster structure of stable and unstable nuclei, including haloes
  2. Alpha Clustering and Nuclear Molecules
  3. Clusters in Nuclear Astrophysics
  4. Clustering aspects of nuclear reactions, including reactions of unstable nuclei and molecular resonance states
  5. Alpha Condensates and Analogy with Condensed Matter Approaches
  6. Cluster radioactivity
  7. Clusters in hypernuclei
  8. Clusters in superheavy nuclei

Venue

The workshop will take place on the campus “Plaine” of the university at the FORUM (Auditorium G). It is easily accessible from the center of Brussels by metro (approximately 15-20'). Take line 5 (direction Hermann-Debroux) and get off at “Delta”station. A map of the Brussels metro and of the Campus access are available.
